Other Helpful Guidelines

  • Honors Students do NOT take T-level courses. Once you are in the Honors Program, any T-level course you take will be counted as a general elective.
  • Students are permitted to do a contract course only as a last resort and in exceptional circumstances, by the discretion of the Honors Director(s).
  • Natural science majors may take Honors seminars in the biology, chemistry, or physics to meet their Honors requirement. Those who prefer not to take Honors courses in math and science will take Honors electives in other subjects to make up the minimum requirement of 8 Honors courses.
  • "Seminar on Global Issues" (HIST H235 033), is a 1.5 credit hour course designed to help students who are interested in applying for prestigious fellowships and scholarships. This course will only count as a general elective.
